A Port Royal estate has sold for more than $29 million, making it the second-highest sale in the ritzy neighborhood this year.
The waterfront estate – at 3401 Rum Row – changed hands for $29,070,000.
The deal closed Nov. 15.
The property, which sits on a 0.62-acre plot, along Galleon Cove, was listed for $34.5 million.
It went pending earlier this year, but that contract fell through after a separate, but related transaction fizzled out, and with it the financing source for the other deal, said C. Lodge McKee II, a global real estate adviser with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty in Naples.
“It wasn’t because of the financial discomfort of anybody,” he said.
He represented the successful buyer of the glitzy estate, spanning 8,232 square feet, with five bedrooms, and nine bathrooms. Described as a “rare offering,” the two-story residence was built in 2021.
