The demise of the incandescent bulb has left some people unhappy with the aesthetics of the alternative light bulb options. Who wants a row of clunky looking LED or fluorescent bulbs lining their bathroom mirror. Philips new Clear LED combines energy efficiency, sparkling light and affordability in this new offering. The Clear LED will probably cost between $5 and $10 when it comes to the U.S. It will be available later this year in Europe, and hopefully soon after here.
