On Wednesday, the Naples City Council selected a Naples Pier renovation plan.
Councilmembers had two design alternatives from Naples Parks and Recreation. The main difference being the location of the concessions.
Option one offers concessions across sea, whereas option two offers them onshore, According to a recent article by Kendall Little of Naples Daily News
The council chose option one 5-2. Ted Blankenship and Beth Petrunoff opposed.
How does rebuilding look?
One onshore, one in the middle, and one at the end of the pier are covered in the rebuilding design.The pier has a two-level viewing deck for fishermen and tourists.
Overwater concessions will be at the pier’s middle. Umbrella-covered seats are in the concessions area.
The pier has trashcans, seats, and fish washing stations.
