What’s a “best beach towns” list without Naples being mentioned?
Not credible. At least that is our opinion.
So, kudos to Southern Living for getting the job done with its “The 50 best beach towns in the South 2025” list. The experts at Southern Living narrowed things down and beautiful Naples is No. 22 in the rankings.

Dining and high-end shopping, a vibrant arts scene, spectacular shores—it’s easy to see why this area is dubbed the Paradise Coast. In a single day in Naples, you can catch a showy sunrise; play a round at an award-winning golf course; go boutique hopping on either Third Street South or Fifth Avenue South; and then walk over to Sea Salt, Del Mar, or Mediterrano for a delicious and memorable alfresco meal.

The 21st annual Cars on 5th brought thousands to downtown Naples on Saturday, Feb. 8.
Exotic cars filled Fifth Avenue South as auto enthusiasts enjoyed seeing so many cool rides up close.
The event ― organized by the Naples chapter of the Ferrari Club of America ― is part of what’s become the Naples Automotive Experience weekend. Comedian Jay Leno was in town for the weekend.
The Naples Automotive Experience benefits the St. Matthew’s House, with 100% of the proceeds going to the nonprofit. The 2024 event raised $1.7 million.

If you see a lantern-jawed dude wearing a hat and fake mustache at next week’s Cars on 5th, don’t get your hopes up: It’s not Jay Leno.
He promises.
The former The Tonight Show host and famous car collector has heard the stories about him going undercover at car shows. But they’re simply not true, he says.
“I don’t go in disguise,” he says. “I just go as myself.”
He’ll be doing exactly that next week at the Naples Automotive Experience, the 21st annual event that includes the popular car show Cars on 5th on Fifth Avenue South in downtown Naples.
No fake mustaches: People can see Leno’s famous, smooth-shaved face performing stand-up comedy at Hertz Arena (Thursday, Feb. 6), attending a sold-out display of curated cars (Friday, Feb. 7) and likely visiting the main event, Cars on 5th (Saturday, Feb. 8).
